TASCHEN

TASCHEN a globally renowned publishing house known for collectible books across art, architecture, fashion, film, and culture had experienced a stagnation in sales following the pandemic. As attention moves increasingly toward digital content, marketing a physical legacy product required a strategy that could create renewed desire.

I led localized product marketing across Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, and Miami, translating monthly launch briefs into market-specific storytelling, social media campaigns, visual merchandising, influencer partnerships, and experiential + events programming.

Each book launch became a cultural moment — from On NFTs and The Shining to titles with The National Gallery, Julian Schnabel, and Marc Newson — with programming and sales motions tailored to the ideal customer segment and revenue goals.

My strategy strengthened the connection between the publisher and community, contributing to a record U.S. retail year with $5.35M in sales, 113% of the annual target.

Revitalizing the heritage of print in a time of impermanence as an object of desire.
